Our children’s church, entitled JAM (Jesus and Me) takes place immediately following the Children’s Momentat the 10:45 traditional serviceon most Sunday mornings and the children are escorted out of the sanctuary to the waiting volunteer parents, all of whom are background checked. The Children’s Moment is listed in the bulletin and it will be noted if the children are going upstairs or staying in worship each Sunday. This ministry takes place on the 3rdfloor in Room 304 and the volunteer parents will share a Bible Story with the children and then allow some play time. Parents are requested to pick their children up in Room 304 immediately following the end of our service. This ministryruns from the Sunday after Labor Day through the Sunday before Memorial Day. We take a break for the summer months.

Over the last two years Troy FUMC members have made a BIG IMPACTtowards ending cancer with more than $4,000 donated to the 2017 and 2018 Pelotonia campaign. TOGETHER WE AREmaking a difference! On August 3rdthe Schilling team will once again ride their bicycles in Columbus as a part of Pelotonia 2019. 100% of every dollar raised by Pelotonia Riders, Virtual Riders and Volunteers goes directly to fund cancer research at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer CenterArthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute. Cancer has attacked far too many people we love including both of our fathers, our sisters, a brother, an aunt, an uncle, a niece, a nephew, and even one of us (Jeff). It continues to attack co-workers, neighbors, friends and our FUMC family giving no thought to age, sex, or status. YOUcan continue to make a difference! Every dollar matters! No contribution is too small and 100% goes directly to cancer research.Make your tax deductible donation:online with credit card or check at OR OR OR send a check to our address (591 Chartwell Ct., Troy) made out to Pelotonia(NOT TO US)and we can submit it for youFor stories about the impact of Pelotonia check out you for your support as we continue to work together to END CANCER.
