Operation Christmas Child

Operation Christmas Child is under the umbrella of Samaritan’s Purse, Franklin Graham’s charitable organization in Boone, NC.It has been 20 years since this project began and over 100 million children have experienced God’s love through the power of simple shoebox gifts. The motivation for this program has remained the same. Franklin Graham said, “I want the children of the world to know, I want their parents to know, that God loves them. He cares for them, and He wants them to be with Him in heaven”.There are brochures and boxes in the Gathering room. You can also use your own shoeboxes or plastic ones. You can contact me here at the church if you have questions. Please prayerfully consider filling some shoeboxes for this project. Many families will do this project together and then pray over the box for the child who will receive it.Shoeboxes must be complete and back to the church office by Monday, November 18.Thank you and God Bless.
