  • Intercessory Prayer Group

    Intercessory Prayer Group (Mondays: 9:15am in room 311)

    The Intercessory Prayer group, open to everyone, meets weekly to lift up all of the prayer requests from  the congregation during the week.

    The Prayer Chain consists of approximately 75 prayers warriors who are notified of prayer requests and  emergencies throughout the week via emails.

  • United Methodist Women (UMW)

    The UMW provides an opportunity to serve others within our church and community as well as worldwide. Women who join UMW experience fellowship and spiritual growth through prayer, study, and action.  

    We meet monthly, except in the summer.

  • Heart to Heart (Women's Retreat)

    Heart to Heart is an annual Women's Retreat and all women and their friends are invited to attend. It begins on Friday evening and ends Saturday afternoon. Occasionally, it is held at a Retreat Center for an overnight stay and other times it is held at First Place Christian Center without an overnight stay.    This Retreat provides an opportunity for all women to get to know each other "Heart to Heart."

  • First Library

    The Church Library provides a variety of books and videos for children and adults including Bibles, fiction, biographies, and non-fiction on current topics. All materials have been entered into a searchable computer database call "MyBooks." You can search for books by title, author, or subject. When checking out a book, all you need to do is place the library card (located in the book) in the basket on the table and keep the item for up to 4 weeks.  

      The Library is found in the main building, on the Third Floor in Room 312
