Rev. Mic Mohler will join the staff of The First United Methodist Church as Associate Pastor, beginning March 1, 2011. Mic (pronounced “Mike”) born in Wauseon, OH as a Preacher’s kid has lived in Ohio his whole life. He graduated from Chillicothe High School in 2005 and THE Ohio State University in 2009 with a Religious Studies Degree. He is currently in Graduate School at United Theological Seminary in Dayton, working on his Masters of Divinity. Before being appointed to FUMC, Mic previously served at Northwest UMC in Columbus as the Youth Minister from 2006-2011.

 

Mic has been active with West Ohio Camps working at Camp Otterbein for four years. It was there that Mic first heard his call from God. Mic enjoys being outdoors with Rock Climbing, Rappelling, Kayaking, and so much more. He enjoys all sports especially golf and baseball. He is an avid Buckeye fan and Miami Dolphin fan (ok now, he can’t be perfect!).

 

Mic also likes long walks on the beach while the sun is setting holding a churro in one hand and a sweet tea in the other. (So maybe not the long walks on the beaches but certainly enjoys churros and sweet tea)!
