Pastor Dave grew up on his parent’s farm, and was a 1980 graduate from Sheridan High School (the same school that Pastor Wilson graduated from). He then attended and graduated from The Ohio State University. While there, he played trombone four years in the OSU Marching Band. He then attended the United Theological Seminary in Dayton, Ohio and graduated from there in 1987 with a Master of Divinity Degree.

Pastor Dave comes to us from Asbury UMC South in Columbus, Ohio where he served for ten years. Prior UMC appointments have been in South Point, Portsmouth, and Dresden.   Pastor Dave’s hobbies include history, particular the Civil War and World War II. He and his family which includes his wife, Jill, son Ben and daughter Kyra, especially enjoy the beach at North Carolina and Dave enjoys hunting on the family farm and fishing.
