Prayer Request

"And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective."   James 5:15-16
 
At First United Methodist Church, we believe that prayer has the power to change lives. As a result, we have an active prayer ministry that takes place in a variety of settings: in worship, within the Intercessory Prayer group that meets on Monday mornings, the prayer chain that consists of around 50 prayer "warriors" and even online.
