LightReaders performing at The Snowflake Follies
Chancel Choir
If your heart longs to sing praises to the Lord, you would be a welcome addition to the Troy FUMC choir. You do not have to be a star singer or performer, just desire to give of your time and talents to serve the Lord. The choir performs during the 10:45 am services each Sunday and additional services during holidays. They practice on Thursdays from 7:30-9:00 pm.

The Chancel Bells are an adult hand bell choir whose purpose is to enhance the worship of our Lord by providing beautiful music. Through a variety of old and new hymns, arrangements and bells combined with organ and choir, the group aims at providing still another aid to worship through the art of hand bell ringing. The contemporary praise band leads worship weekly at the 10;35 a.m. Contemporary Sunday service. The band includes vocalists, instrumentalists, as well as audio technicians, and leads the congregation in a variety of more contemporary worship. The band welcomes those who wish to use their gifts in worship ministry.

LightReaders
LightReaders is a year-round, six member Christian music and drama troupe, specializing in outreach to congregations of all denominations. We feature four-part, mixed voice harmony, and offer both contemporary and traditional music. Our Scripture based programs create an unique blend of comedic and dramatic sketches that retell familiar Bible stories by shining a new light on the message.
